We were looking for a quick and easy lunch and figured this place would have enough options to satisfy us both. My boyfriend ordered the tuna melt, I had a grilled cheese, and we split a large order of fries. I didn't realize that all (or almost all???) of their sandwiches are triple decker, so we got some extra carbs that day. The grilled cheese was pretty much a cafeteria grilled cheese (you know, the kind with the icky pre cut slices of cheese?). My boyfriend's tuna melt was pretty good but we could make a tastier one at home. The fries were large and crinkle cut, but they were nice and crispy and a large order was HUGE. This was a bit hard for me to rate. For what it is, which is fast food, I'd give it three stars. It's better than going to McDonalds but it's not a gourmet deli. But when you compare it to the other great lunch places in Charleston, plus the fact that our order was around $17, it really is pretty meh, so I'm going with two stars. We may go back just to try the ice cream since they had around 40 flavors.

Hamburgers are my favorite I always receive good customer service and a clean environment to enjoy my food. The prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get. Great experience!

Have you been craving an egg sandwich like mama used to make? It's like she's in the kitchen! Personally I like mine with bacon, but ham is an excellent choice as well. Yeah, yeah, it may take a few more minutes than you might like for your food to get ready but the simple solution to that is to call ahead. The staff is always nice and always accommodating. The fries are really good too, and one order is plenty for two people. Don't skip on the ice cream! An up side to waiting...the kids get more time to play :) A huge plus for me is their hours. They are open til 10:00 during the week and 11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is the only place in town I've found a Rachel sandwich...think of a Reuben but change it from corned beef and sauerkraut to pastrami and coleslaw. Really good on griddled rye bread. The only thing that gets me about this place is consistency -- sometimes I would get an inch thick of meat and a pile of slaw and other times I would get a couple of slices of meat and a spoonful of slaw. At times the entire place is staffed by teens that would rather be chatting or playing with their phones than assisting customers -- it's hit or miss. The salads are enormous -- my parents get one to share. They are a fan of the foot long chili cheese dogs, but I find that they are just too messy to eat. Burgers are frozen patties, although the bacon is cooked fresh. French fries are plentiful. The BLT is probably the best sandwich they make with ten slices of bacon.

Not impressed. Seems to be going downhill year after year. Bloated prices for mediocre food. Only thing worth it is the ice cream.

First time here. A friend of mine at work recommended it so my wife and I stoped by one day. We got there and there around 3:00 and were one of the only ones there. My wife knew exactly what she wanted since the friend at work recommended the BLT and she loves BLTs so that's what she got. I got the double cheese burger with bacon. We were told the BLT was so good and it had 10, yes 10, slices of bacon on it. Well it didn't disappoint. There were 10 slices and it was really good. At one point it seemed like there was too much bacon, but come on, is there really such a thing? As we were sitting and reading the menu you could take home my wife noticed it said "best burger in Goose Creek". Ok. It also said our burgers are "huge". Ok. Well I'm here to tell you neither disappointed. It was an awesome burger and really big. I'm a bigger guy and it along with the fries filled me up good. Overall this place was great! We will definitely be coming back and trying different things.

I love this place and the staff. so polite and fresh food made to order. I like being able to call in and pick up. The nacho cheese taste funny sometimes, but it's the only place I can get fries like that. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, but great sundaes.

My husband and I decided to check this place out for lunch today. I ordered a cheeseburger, he got a chili cheese dog, and we split an order of chili cheese fries. My burger was delicious ... thick and juicy, and I liked that they toasted the bun. My husband definitely seemed to enjoy his chili cheese dog, and the fries were great (thick crinkle-cut fries topped with meaty chili). The best part of this place, of course, is the ice cream. They have a ton of flavors, and the serving sizes are HUGE. What passed for a single scoop contained the amount of ice cream I would expect from two scoops at any other establishment. It tasted delicious too ... I can't wait to go back and sample more flavors!

The ice cream is not homemade. Its your standard commercial size 5 gallon buckets of Pet brand, Blue Bell, Edy's, etc.. Interestingly, people seem to rave about it. I assume mostly because of the ocean of various flavors offered. But the quality itself is standard grocery store fare. If you see the tubs and you'll notice the brand labels. If youve ever been to an ice cream shop that churns their own ice cream, youll notice the difference in the butterfat content because of the ultra creaminess and richness. That being said, the sandwiches, burgers and dogs are also standard fare Oscar Mayer, nothing special. The soups are Campbell's. The enjoyment of this restaurant is the variety and fun of picking whatever ice cream sundae you want without having to make it yourself and clean up the kitchen. Its a local place that's fun for families.
